Our story
More than six decades on the shop floor.
Display Equipment Co. was established in Johannesburg in 1959. Across changing formats, fashions and retail cycles, one principle has stayed constant: better presentation helps the product sell.
Since 2021, we have sharpened our focus on mannequins and expanded local manufacture using South African materials and fittings. That gives retailers more control over pose, finish and support while reducing dependence on distant supply chains.
Today we work as a practical guide to visual merchandising teams, buyers, operations teams and store owners: helping them select the right display, maintain it properly and protect the intended standard over time.
